The manual

The specification answers what is the rule, and says each rule exactly once. This answers what do I type. Ten short chapters with one idea in each, starting from an empty directory and ending with a trace you can hand to somebody who does not have your disk.

Every command on these pages is executed on every build of this project, against the binary in the repository, by tests/transcripts/run. The output printed underneath is the output that came back. Documentation that lies fails the build.
